Kerala Flood 2019                                                      Over 100 people have been killed and lakhs displaced in Kerala which has witnessed widescale devastation due to ravaging floods. Several areas remain inundated as rescue teams including the Army, Navy, NDRF, SDRF  work on war scale to provide relief and rescue people hit by the deluge. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced Rs 10,000  immediate assistance to flood-affected families.  Those who have lost their homes and land would be given Rs 10 lakh, while those whose houses had been destroyed or damaged would get Rs 4 lakh, CM Vijayan told reporters after a Cabinet meeting.  Meanwhile, the weather department has issued red alert  in districts of Malappuram and Kozhikode, and Orange alert has been issued in districts of Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod for Wednesday.  Wayanad, Kozhikode, Idukki and Malappuram were some of the worst-hit districts.  In last few days Malappuram distri
